Smiles Stadium, formerly known as Dairy Farmers Stadium, is a 26,500
capacity rectangular stadium located in Kirwan, North Queensland. The
stadium is predominantly used for rugby league, where it is home to the
North Queensland Cowboys, however has also hosted football with the
North Queensland Fury. The stadium was built in 1994, and was renovated
in 2006. It is anticipated that the stadium will soon be replaced by a
stadium located within central Townsville.
