Gold Coast Stadium: final update

This is the final update on Gold Coast Stadium, work is now proceeding to the Carrara Sports Complex which incorporates Metricon Stadium and the other facilities on the other side of the road as well. Everything is in position, it is mainly just the road that needs doing.

Gold Coast Stadium: the complex

This is the inside of the main stand concourse. Natural lighting only. One of the key features of the design is the openness of it. Please note textures still not applied to the stairwell.

What is located where under the stadium.

Gold Coast Stadium is the name of a ~6000 seat stadium located opposite Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast. The primary sport played here is football (soccer). The stadium sketches were uploaded in March.

The stadium is part of a site which also features four additional pitches, a clubhouse, accomodation and a lake. To show support for the cause, please go to like this Facebook page which is all about the idea.
