Grunwalder Stadium: Part 1

April 12: There wasn't a great deal of work done on this day. It was Easter and I spent the day with family. Despite this, I got the base texture imported. the ostkurve modelled, and mapped out the main roads to the east of the site.
April 13: Wasted very little time getting on with the stadium model. The VIP-tribune and Gegengerade were modelled, as well as the floodlights.
April 13: Another view.

April 14: Haupttribune was modelled. This was the most technically difficult stand to model, as parts like the media tribune and rear of the stand were difficult to visualise and had to be approximated as best I could.

April 15: Westkurve was mapped out.

April 15: Another angle

April 16: Stairways and the like added to the westkurve.

April 16: Another angle.

April 17: Adding the reliefs to the VIP-tribune wall. In reality, there's a number of different models for the reliefs, but I only recreated one section and used that to save time. The difference is barely noticable.

April 17: Wall behind the ostkurve mapped out.

April 18: Texturing of the stadium, along with the scoreboard being modelled. The textures are made up of a small number of textures that are reused across several areas of the site model.

April 18: Another view, with the support building in the northeast corner modelled.

April 18: A site overview of the stadium model.

April 18: A view of the reliefs.
