Stockland Park: phase 3

Phase 3 of the Stockland Park expansion project sees the stadium get a new stand at the northern end. Capacity rises to 10,264.

Sorry again about the delay. Unfortunately there have been delays in the wake of ex-cyclone Oswald, namely the absence of electricity with which to do my work. However, tomorrow (hopefully) I will be uploading a series of pitches and courts. In total I have over a dozen, including tennis, football, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, hockey, handball, netball, wrestling and more. Should be awesome.

Stockland Park: end of phase 1, start of phase 2

The end of phase 1 sees the hill surrounding the stadium modelled.

Phase 2 sees the three bleacher stands moved to the southeast end of the stadium, and a new stand built along the eastern edge, complete with ticket office. Capacity after phase 2: 7948 (2866 main stand, 3666 new stand, 472*3 bleachers)

Well, after finishing this a month ago, I loitered on the renders until today.

Stockland Park expansion

Hi guys.

I know it has been a while, but I have been frantically working on a massive, MASSIVE project. 5/19ths done, if you know me well enough that should tell you what it is ;).

Anyway, here is work on a project which I have wanted to do for a while. In it's current state, Stockland Park holds 1050 seats. I want to see if, through a multi-staged expansion process, I can make that 10000. So far I am working on stage 1, which sees the main stand expanded to 2866 and 3 bleachers, each holding 472 people, installed opposite. This brings capacity to 4282 people. A portable video board is added at the northern end.

Transport Centre

Hey guys, sorry that is has been a while between posts again. I reformatted and massively upgraded my computer a month ago (just after my last real post BTW). Now have a Core i7-3770 processor, 16GB of RAM, a new monitor and a shiny new case. Setting up all of that took half a week, kid you not!

Saunders Street Stadium is now complete and has been for a short while, however I have been massively lazy in actually posting the renders. I need to scale them down, I was able to make really big renders because of my new system. Kickass.

Furthermore, I have spent a fair bit of time working on more of my model extraction projects, and I hope I can show you some of the work in the coming weeks. It is really sweet seeing them take shape. 

Anyway, this blog isn't a Where's PompeY2J?, this is a blog post about a project. This project involves the design of a multi-modal transport centre. This features four train platforms, soon to be a bus station and some other cool stuff coming soon. Renders were just completed a couple of minutes ago. The project is still in its infancy, so bear with the absent textures and general lack of work so far.

While I am at it, I want to wish all my followers a very merry festive season.

Saunders Street update

It's been a while since my last update, been very busy so haven't had any time for this project. But I have some new images. Work is now occurring on the areas surrounding the stadium, with the HQ and training pitch work ongoing now.
