A bit of an unpleasant night at the main arrivals port, with hotel reception located next door on the main island

Penguin island, named because there are penguin nesting boxes located on the island. Did you know the Galapagos penguins live at the equator? Penguins aren't just Antarctic creatures.

To give an idea of how shallow the islands are - that's a 3m sea level rise. Half the islands are flooded.

So I know this is a really weird feeling, but I am actually uploading a project I just finished (yesterday)! The Fury Islands are a tropical island chain with a resort on it, a castle, shipwreck, coral reef and penguin habitat. I was inspired for this map while playing Battlefield 4 on the Operation Mortar map, fell in love with it and built up an idea from there.  All in all, I made this over the course of six or so weeks, and I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Definitely have a lot more stuff that I can't wait to share with you all.

School demountable building (2020)

This was a project I made one day back in February 2020 - so much simpler a time eh? Anyway, I got inspired by a project I came across and let my creativity run free. In my mind, these are best used in situations where school classrooms are flooded (as had happened to me a few weeks earlier) and they need rapid deployment of demountable facilities. Each block is set up around a tree, and features 8 classrooms and is constructed out of 24 shipping containers.

The project actually rendered out a lot better than I expected it would, though I was pretty happy with the texturing I did back then. I will admit though, the rug over the floor in the classroom was to mask some Z-fighting from a crossbeam underneath the floor, and I was just too lazy to fix it properly. Looks like garbage though.
